  • Curaçao are unbeaten in their last seven World Cup qualifying matches at home (W5 D2).
  • Trinidad and Tobago have lost only two of their last 12 World Cup qualifying matches (W6 D4).

Curacao vs Trinidad and Tobago prediction

Curacao come into this one on the back of an impressive 2-0 defeat of Jamaica the other day, courtesy of goals from Livano Comenencia and Kenji Gorre, making it seven points collected from their three matches thus far. Trinidad and Tobago, on the other hand, have won one, drawn one and lost one in their three. They did manage to ease past Bermuda by three goals to nil at the Bermuda National Stadium the other day.

Curacao, now under the management of Dick Advocaat, sit at the top of the group as they push for a first ever FIFA World Cup appearance, ahead of hosting Dwight Yorke’s Trinidad and Tobago this weekend.

Curacao have an excellent opportunity to lay down a marker here and push closer towards the 48-team tournament next summer and they have to be viewed as favourites.
