Having been the smallest team to ever play at a FIFA World Cup this summer, Dick Advocaat’s Curacao came from 3-0 down to win 4-3 in Costa Rica the other day with four goals in 20 second half minutes.
Nicaragua, on the other hand, started their CONCACAF Nations League campaign with a 3-2 loss to the Dominican Republic in a game in which they fought back from 2-0 down before conceding a 97th minute Pablo Rosario winner.
The Nicaraguans have now won just one of their last 11 matches and Curacao will be confident of starting their new international cycle with back-to-back victories.
