Key stats

  • The first leg was the first UEFA competition meeting between the two sides, and Crystal Palace’s maiden encounter with a club from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Zrinjski’s only previous UEFA meetings with an English club came in the 2023/24 UEFA Conference League group stage against Aston Villa, where they lost 1–0 in Birmingham on Matchday 2 and drew 0–0 in Mostar on Matchday 6.
  • Crystal Palace have lost only two of their previous nine UEFA matches this season (W5 D2).
  • Zrinjski have won only three of their last 16 UEFA away matches (D2 L11), and they have lost their three most recent such games without scoring.
  • Zrinjski have won two of the previous six UEFA two‑legged ties in which they drew at home in the first leg.
  • Zrinjski are aiming to become the first club from Bosnia and Herzegovina to win a UEFA competition match away to English opposition, with English teams having won all five previous meetings.

Crystal Palace vs Zrinjski prediction

With supporters showing their immense frustration towards manager Oliver Glasner, Crystal Palace were only held to a 1-1 draw by Zrinjski Mostar in the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League knockout playoff round tie in Bosnia-Herzegovina last week with Ismaila Sarr’s first-half opener being cancelled out by Karlo Abramovic.

Crystal Palace have since edged past Wolverhampton Wanderers by a goal to nil but the pressure remains on Glasner with the Austrian potentially departing at any stage

Zrinjski have been stubborn and awkward but mainly when playing with home advantage and so Palace should ease themselves to a victory here.
