Crystal Palace vs Millwall Prediction

South London is a hotbed for footballing talent but, historically, footballing rivalry with Millwall and Crystal Palace among that, alongside Charlton Athletic. This should be a hostile atmosphere and a bit of a throwback in line with the traditions of the FA Cup.

Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace have been magnificent once again since their poor start to the campaign, being the fourth best team in the Premier League after failing to win their opening eight games of the season. They most recently dispatched of Aston Villa by four goals to one at Selhurst Park the other day.

Millwall come into this one sitting six points outside of the top six and the playoff spots in the second-tier, not yet giving up hope of those places. Alex Neil’s Lions most recently defeated struggling Derby County by a goal to nil at Pride Park last weekend to mean they have suffered just one defeat in their last nine matches across all competitions.

Millwall will attempt to make themselves difficult to beat and will fancy themselves to frustrate but, especially at home, Palace are expected to eventually cruise to victory in Croydon.

Crystal Palace vs Millwall Tip: Crystal Palace to win
