In their most recent outing in the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League, Crystal Palace suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to AEK Larnaca a couple of weeks ago. The Eagles have been very strong throughout the Oliver Glasner reign, but attempting to breakdown a low block may be problematic in this competition.
They face an AZ Alkmaar side that began their league phase campaign with a 4-0 hammering at the hands of the aforementioned AEK Larnaca in Cyprus. After that, AZ have managed to get back on track with a slender 1-0 defeat of Slovakian champions Slovan Bratislava at the AFAS Stadion.
