In the first-leg of this UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie, Red Star Belgrade defeated Gibraltarian champions Lincoln Red Imps by just a goal to nil at the Europa Sports Complex in the rock of Gibraltar. Bruno Duarte scored the only goal of the game after 30 minutes in that match before right-back Seol Young-woo was then sent off just before half-time.
Red Star Belgrade had to compete with ten men for over half of that first-leg and that may well be why the game was so much closer than was to be expected, with the expectation actually being a hammering in both legs.
