Cruz Azul vs Club America prediction

Cruz Azul come into this one on the back of a come from behind 3-2 defeat of Pumas UNAM in their most recent outing at Estadio Cuauhtemoc at the weekend. That victory means they are now unbeaten in their last ten matches across all competitions as they sit third in the Clausura of Liga MX, behind both America and Toluca.

The aforementioned America sit at the top-of-the-table, above Toluca on goal difference, but did back up that goalless draw in the first-leg of this tie with a defeat at the weekend as they suffered a 1-0 loss to Pachuca due to a 19th minute strike from Salomon Rondon before Pachuca went down to ten men in second-half stoppage-time.

This is expected to be a tense and tight affair for this one, despite Cruz Azul’s entertaining clash at the weekend. They have combined for just 51 goals in Liga MX this season and defences will likely rule for this one.

Cruz Azul vs Club America tip: Under 3.5 goals
