Crewe vs Accrington prediction

Crewe Alexandra were playoff finalists in 2024, but collapsed last season. Lee Bell remains in charge with some concerns over the squad of the Railwaymen. However, on the opening day of the campaign, they put in an impressive performance to defeat Salford City by three goals to one, with Conor Thomas notching a brace for Alex.

They now face an Accrington Stanley side that are once again expected to be battling against the bottom two and the relegation places in League Two this season. The Lancastrians began their campaign with a solid enough 1-1 draw against Gillingham last week, before dispatching of Oldham Athletic in the EFL Cup in midweek.

Both sides would have had major doubters before the season began, but both have started well and it could therefore lead to an entertaining watch for the neutral.
