Following their promotion to the top-flight of Italian football once again last season, Cremonese began the campaign with back-to-back victories before a four-match winless run of form has seen them drift to the middle-of-the-table.

The visitors had again, like Cremonese, started well with seven points collected from their opening three matches before a drip heading into the October international break with just one more point added to that tally.
