Coventry vs West Brom prediction

Frank Lampard’s Coventry City begin this round of fixtures sitting sixth in the Championship and three points above their upcoming opponents West Bromwich Albion. The hosts were held to a 1-1 draw with Hull City on Monday with Matt Grimes’ strike cancelled out by Abu Kamara’s 82nd minute equaliser.

They take on a West Bromwich Albion side that immediately improved after the surprise and frustrating departure of Carlos Corberan to Valencia on Christmas Eve but the Baggies have since drifted. However, Tony Mowbray’s side did end their winless run of form with a hard-fought 2-1 defeat of Watford at the Hawthorns last weekend.

Coventry have begun to slow down in terms of their performance level and the nous of Mowbray and his West Brom side may well be a good bet for this one on Good Friday.
