Coventry vs Swansea prediction

Frank Lampard’s Coventry earned themselves a 1-1 draw with Southampton at St Mary’s last weekend, despite going down to ten men early on in the second-half. The Sky Blues have hit a rocky patch of form, though, with that 1-1 draw against the Saints meaning that they have now won just one of their last four matches in the Championship.

They now face a Swansea City side that, following the appointment of Alan Sheehan’s replacement Vitor Matos, have won three of four matches during his reign thus far. The Jacks most recently came from behind to dramatically defeat Wrexham by two goals to one in a Welsh derby at the Swansea.com Stadium at the weekend.

Swansea have been good at home, as well as a touch fortunate, under Matos, but this is a very different test and Coventry should come out on top on Boxing Day afternoon.

Coventry vs Swansea tip: Coventry to win
