Wednesday – three-time FA Cup winners – have gone beyond the third round in six of the last seven seasons.

This is the second season in a row that these two former Premier League sides have met in the FA Cup, with Coventry prevailing 4-1 in a fourth-round replay last season after a 1-1 draw in their first contest.
