Coventry vs Ipswich prediction

Frank Lampard and his Coventry City side sit at the top-of-the-table in the Championship, eight points clear of Middlesbrough half-way through the season. The Sky Blues managed to edge past Swansea City by a goal to nil at the CBS Arena the other day, courtesy of a 44th minute strike scored by Ephron Mason-Clark.

They now face an Ipswich Town side that have underwhelmed at the start of this season but they have closed the gap to just 13 points adrift of Coventry, who leading the league table. The Tractor Boys did stumble on Boxing Day, though, as they were held to a goalless draw at The Den in Bermondsey.

Ipswich head to the CBS Arena, the scene of the result that got them so close to Premier League promotion a couple of years ago, knowing they can be more or less put out of the running for the title. It should be a bit of a thriller for the neutral.
