Coventry vs Blackburn prediction

Coventry City remain unbeaten in their opening nine matches of the 2025/26 Championship season with five victories and four draws for the Sky Blues. They enjoyed three successive high-scoring wins before the break with an aggregate win of 12-0 against Birmingham City, Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday.

Blackburn Rovers, under the management of former Barnsley and West Bromwich Albion boss Valerien Ismael, are struggling so far this season. The Lancastrians’ most recent 1-1 draw with Stoke City at Ewood Park means that they have managed just two victories in their eight matches thus far.

Blackburn lack much quality and they are also struggling for any cohesion, and so siding with Coventry with their home advantage would be the way to go for this one.

Coventry vs Blackburn tip: Coventry to win
