Costa Rica vs United Arab Emirates prediction

It has been a difficult build up to the tournament for the Costa Ricans as La Sele head into this one on the back of a five-match losing streak, having most recently been thrashed by seven goals to one by Brazil in a friendly back in August.

The United Arab Emirates are entering into their fourth FIFA U17 World Cup after reaching the quarter-finals of the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup. The UAE are coached by Majed El Zaabi.

The UAE’s footballing infrastructure is naturally improving and becoming more sophisticated and they will likely be tough opposition to beat for a poor Costa Rican side.
