Colombia vs Peru Prediction

The Colombians reached the final last summer at the back end of a long and impressive unbeaten run of form. However, they have since managed just two victories in eight matches, despite beating Argentina in September, and their most recent outing was a 2-2 draw with Paraguay in Asuncion a couple of months ago.

The Peruvians head into the final four games of CONMEBOL’s qualifying campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup sitting ninth, five points adrift of seventh placed Venezuela in the intercontinental playoff place. They most recently suffered a pivotal 1-0 loss to the aforementioned Venezuelans during the March international break.

Colombia have been nowhere near the standard of previously but they remain one of the stronger sides in South America and should all but officially end Peru’s hopes this week.

Colombia vs Peru Tip: Colombia to win
