Chicago Fire vs Inter Miami prediction

With former United States manager Gregg Berhalter at the helm, the Chicago Fire have begun their season with three victories, two draws and two defeats. They most recently suffered a 2-1 loss to the New York Red Bulls last weekend in a game in which they did take the lead. That ended a five-match unbeaten run of form since losing on the opening weekend.

Inter Miami, who won the Supporters’ Shield in 2024 and look very strong once again domestically, managed to overcome LAFC from 2-0 down on aggregate to win 3-2 in the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Champions Cup in midweek courtesy of captain Lionel Messi scoring a match-winning brace.

The Chicago Fire’s seven games have produced 26 goals thus far and they have been good to watch as they now take on an Inter Miami side with immense fire power and an entertaining affair may be in store at Soldier Field.
