Cheltenham vs Accrington prediction

With former Newport County boss Michael Flynn at the helm, Cheltenham Town have a very limited squad and they were always expected to struggle. They head into this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting rock-bottom after six matches, with just one point collected from their opening six matches.

They now face an Accrington Stanley side that have once again been struggling throughout the start of this season, with the Lancastrians having managed three draws with two defeats in five matches. Stanley most recently suffered a penalty shootout defeat to Fleetwood Town in the group stages of the EFL Trophy in midweek.

These are two poor sides, albeit the visitors at least seem a little more difficult to beat, and therefore siding with the away team would surely represent good value here.

Cheltenham vs Accrington tip: Double chance – Accrington to win or draw
