Charlton vs Coventry prediction

Nathan Jones’ Charlton Athletic believed they had snatched a point against Portsmouth before then conceding a 98th minute winner at Fratton Park on Monday. The Addicks have now managed just one victory in their last nine matches in the Championship since a bright start to the campaign.

Coventry City begin New Year’s Day sitting eight points clear at the top-of-the-table but they are enduring a bit of a blip, both in terms of performances and results. The Sky Blues’ 2-0 loss at home to Ipswich Town the other day means that they have won just two of their last six games.

Coventry have been shaky for the last month or so and Charlton will make things extremely difficult for them in south London, albeit they remain favourites in the capital city.

Charlton vs Coventry tip: Coventry to win & under 3.5 goals
