Charlton vs Chelsea prediction

Nathan Jones’ Charlton Athletic went 2-0 up at Ewood Park against Blackburn Rovers in their most recent outing in Lancashire last weekend, before succumbing to a 2-2 draw against their fellow strugglers. The Addicks began life in the Championship well, following their promotion, but they have endured a difficult couple of months.

Having sat in the stands to watch over their 2-1 defeat to west London rivals Fulham at Craven Cottage in midweek, Liam Rosenior takes charge of his first Chelsea game after his move from Strasbourg. There are plenty of rational fears about the experience of Rosenior, and the culture of Chelsea appears to contradict with his steady build approach.

That said, he will be aware he simply has to hit the ground running and an element of pragmatism may be on show in what should still be a very comfortable away win here.

Charlton vs Chelsea tip: Chelsea to win to nil
