Key Stats

  • Chad have lost ten and drawn two of their 12 last World Cup qualifying matches since their last FWCQ victory which was a 1-0 home win against Egypt in November 2015.
  • Central African Republic have won only three of their previous 25 World Cup qualifying matches (D4 L18).

Chad vs Central African Republic Prediction

Chad come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Mali in their most recent outing, the other day, due to a brace of goals scored by Kamory Doumbia. They have collected just one point from their eight matches in Group I. They have scored just three goals in that time and they have conceded 21.

They now face a Central African Republic side that come into this one on the back of three successive defeats. They most recently suffered a 5-0 hammering at the hands of Ghana at Stade d’Honneur. They themselves have also been regressing for some time as they sit second from bottom in Group I.

These are two very weak sides but that shouldn’t be confused for them being evenly matched with Central African Republic still the firm favourites in Chad this week.

Chad vs Central African Republic Tip: Central African Republic to win & under 3.5 goals
