CFR Cluj vs Braga prediction

CFR Cluj come into this one on the back of a 3-2 defeat at home to Universitatea Craiova in their most recent outing in the Romanian SuperLiga at the weekend. They have managed just one win in their opening four matches domestically. They edged past Lugano after comfortably defeating Paksi in this competition last month.

They now face a Braga side that nearly broke up ‘Os Tres Grandes’ in Portugal last season, but they eventually finished fourth behind Porto. Portuguese sides can often underperform outside of the big three in Europe, but Braga did manage to defeat Levski Sofia by a goal to nil on aggregate in the second qualifying round.

CFR Cluj have been focused on Europe but even their performances on the continent have been underwhelming, and Braga would have to be favoured to keep it tight here.

CFR Cluj vs Braga tip: Double chance – Braga to win or draw
