Central African Republic vs Mauritania prediction

The Central African Republic come into this one on the back of a goalless draw with Mali at Stade Larbi Zaouli in Casablanca in Morocco in their most recent outing during the March international break. That stalemate means that they are winless in their last three matches since a defeat to Cameroon in a Africa Nations Championship qualifier in December.

They now face a Mauritania side that have played at the last three CAF Africa Cup of Nations, reaching the knockout stages last year, but they will not be in Morocco in December. Their 2-0 loss to the Democratic Republic of Congo a couple of months ago means that they have managed just three victories in their last 14 matches.

What is often quite typical for games involving African international sides is that it becomes quite attritional and that often leads to low-scoring games so under 2.5 goals seems likely.

Central African Republic vs Mauritania tip: Under 2.5 goals
