Celje vs Lugano prediction
Under the management of former Liverpool winger Albert Riera, Celje have been really impressive in terms of their style of football and they showed that in the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round last week, as they hammered Lugano by five goals to nil in Switzerland. Danijel Sturm opened the scoring in that game with other goals by Mario Kvesic and Mark Zabukovnik, as well as a brace scored by Franko Kovacevic.
Celje reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season before a slender defeat to Fiorentina, whilst Lugano look set for another European underperformance.
Celje may well rotate for this one in Slovenia, and Lugano will fancy their chances of at least taking advantage of that by scoring, but Celje have to remain firm favourites again.
