  • Edwin Rodríguez (Honduras) has scored in his previous two appearances in the current World Cup qualifying campaign.

Cayman Islands vs Honduras prediction

Cayman Islands are coming off the back of consecutive defeats, which has set them back hugely after their 1-0 victory over Antigua and Barbuda to start things off. Most worrying was how they fell apart defensively, shipping eight goals over the course of their two losses at the hands of Cuba and Bermuda respectively.

Honduras are racking up the goals in Group A and that has proven the catalyst to their two victories gained so far. A 3-1 win over Cuba was backed up brilliantly by a thumping 1-6 triumph against Bermuda. Such offensive potency cannot be ignored and puts them in a great position to finish inside the top two.

Cayman Islands’ backline has taken a pounding recently and confidence is likely low. When comparing that with Honduras’ clinical attacking edge of late, the smart play is to back an away victory in this one.
