Catalans Dragons Team News: Fages out but Sims back

Whilst Catalans Dragons will be happy to welcome Tariq Sims back into the fold following an injury that has ruled him out for the past couple of weeks, they will be without Theo Fages for this one after the halfback picked up an injury of his own.

Squad: Arthur Romano, Reimis Smith, Nick Cotric, Luke Keary, Tevita Pangai Jr, Benjamin Garcia, Tariq Sims, Oliver Partington, Alrix Da Costa, Chris Satae, Romain Navarette, Bayley Sironen, Cesar Rouge, Paul Seguier, Jordan Dezaria, Fouad Yaha, Matthieu Laguerre, Franck Maria, Guillermo Aispuro-Bichet, Denive Balmforth, Ugo Tison

Wigan Warriors Team News: Keighran expected to be fine

Wigan Warriors centre Adam Keighran has been named in the squad and should be fit to play after being forced off through injury last time out against Wakefield Trinity. Ethan Havard won’t be involved, as he’s suspended.

Squad: Jai Field, Adam Keighran, Jake Wardle, Liam Marshall, Bevan French, Harry Smith, Brad O’Neill, Junior Nsemba, Liam Farrell, Kaide Ellis, Patrick Mago, Liam Byrne, Kruise Leeming, Tyler Dupree, Harvie Hill, Sam Walters, Zach Eckersley, Jack Farrimond, Jacob Douglas, Harvey Makin, Kian McDermott

Catalans Dragons vs Wigan Warriors Prediction

Wigan Warriors ruthlessly took down Wakefield Trinity last time out, thrashing them by a scoreline of 44-2 at the Brick Community Stadium. They’ll need to continue in the same vein if they are to keep their slim hopes of catching Hull KR alive. Matt Peet’s side have won three of their last four, with one of those victories coming against their opponents here back in late July.

Catalans Dragons snapped a six-game losing streak last weekend after thrashing Castleford Tigers 38-4 in Perpignan. But Wigan Warriors will pose a far sterner challenge than what Castleford provided and with Peet’s men trying to hunt down Hull KR, expect them to be fired up for this one. Back the Warriors to cut down the Tigers.
