Catalans Dragons vs Huddersfield Giants prediction

Catalans Dragons head coach Joel Tomkins has reason to be very happy with the work done in the off-season to improve his squad after a desperately disappointing 2025 campaign that saw the Dragons finish in ninth-place. The signings of players such as hooker Kruise Lemming and 24-year-old half-back Toby Sexton shows that they mean business and an immediate impact from those incomings are expected.

Huddersfield Giants usually wind up down the bottom end of the Super League table, as they traditionally must contend with having one of the smallest budgets in the division. However, expect them to work hard for each other as always and make themselves as difficult as possible to beat. It’s hard to bully a side like the Giants.

Whilst it may take time for Catalans to really click as a smooth, free-flowing unit when taking into account the number of new signings at the club, they should have enough in the tank to beat Huddersfield, especially with home advantage in their favour.
