Castleford Tigers vs St. Helens prediction

Whenever Castleford Tigers and St. Helens have done battle in recent years, it’s been the latter who has often come out on top. Paul Rowley’s outfit have won 10 of the last 11 meetings between the two teams and that, combined with their form this season will fill them with confidence as they make the trip across the M62.

The Saints bounced back from their Challenge Cup semi-final loss to rivals Wigan Warriors by getting past Huddersfield Giants last week. They will be eager to follow that up and continue their fine form in Super League, where they have won nine of their 11 matches so far.

As for Castleford, the Tigers picked up a much-needed win last week against York Knights but that followed two dismal losses against both Hull sides, which saw them concede 50 points in both matches.

They have struggled against the better teams in the division and even if St. Helens are not are full tilt in the warmer weather, Rowley’s men should still have far too much quality for the Tigers.
