Castleford Tigers team news: Same team expected

With no changes to the Castleford Tigers squad, it’s more than likely that the hosts will roll out the same line-up that took down Wigan Warriors last weekend.

Squad: Semi Valemei, Zac Cini, Darnell McIntosh, Mikaele Ravalawa, Daejarn Asi, Tom Weaver, Renouf Atoni, Liam Hood, George Lawler, Jordan Lane, Alex Mellor, Joe Stimson, Brock Greacen, Jack Ashworth, Aidan Doolan, Jason Qareqare, Krystian Mapapalangi, Jenson Windley, Sam Hall, George Hirst

Hull FC team news: Lisone misses out

Hull FC have been forced to replace Sam Lisone following his bicep injury suffered last time out, with Jeremiah Mata’utia brought in on loan from Leeds Rhinos to replace him.

Squad: Davy Litten, Zak Hardaker, Lewis Martin, Jake Arthur, Aidan Sezer, Amir Bourouh, Harvie Hill, Cade Cust, James Bell, Ligi Sao, Tom Briscoe, Yusuf Aydin, Connor Bailey, Brad Fash, Logan Moy, Matty Laidlaw, Callum Kemp, Will Hutchinson, Lloyd Kemp, Harry Newman, Jeremiah Mata’utia

Castleford Tigers vs Hull FC prediction

John Cartwright was clearly upset by the news that he was being replaced as Hull FC head coach by Steve McNamara from next season and has since stepped down from his role rather than staying in charge until the end of the campaign. Assistant Andy Last has taken over in his place for a side who have lost their last two Super League games.

You have to think that this opens the door for Castleford Tigers, who are riding the crest of a wave after stunning Wigan Warriors at the Brick Community Stadium last time out. The instability of Hull FC should give Castleford an advantage and they are well worth backing to get the better of their opponents.
