Huddersfield Giants team news: Hewitt suspended

Huddersfield Giants won’t be able to call upon Sam Hewitt due to suspension, whilst Adam Clune, Niall Evalds and Adam Swift are injured. In better news though, Tenguy Zenon could be ready to make his Giants debut.

Castleford Tigers vs Huddersfield Giants prediction

It’s been a tough start to the new Super League campaign for both of these two teams. Neither have put a point on the board yet and currently make up the bottom two in the table. This ramps up the pressure on each side ahead of this match and when considering the lack of quality that we’ve seen from the pair, it would be no surprise if a turgid encounter is in order.

Things haven’t clicked for Castleford Tigers or Huddersfield Giants and neither are strong defensively. But you would expect Castleford to improve at least from an offensive perspective with them being at home. It’s that home advantage which may well prove pivotal in a fixture such as this between two struggling clubs and makes backing the Tigers worth considering.
