Canada vs USA Prediction

For the first time in the competition’s history, the United States will not win the CONCACAF Nations League after they suffered a shock defeat to Panama as they now face a Canada side that were also underwhelming in the semi-finals the other day.

The Canadians, under the management of former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch, did well at last summer’s CONMEBOL Copa America, reaching the semi-finals, but suffered a 2-0 loss to Javier Aguirre’s much-improved Mexico side in Los Angeles the other day thanks to Raul Jimenez scoring a brace for El Tri.

The United States appeared to be showing signs of getting to grips with the Mauricio Pochettino way of doing things but they themselves suffered a surprise loss as the three-time defending champions of this competition were beaten 1-0 by Panama at the SoFi Stadium, courtesy of a dramatic 94th minute winner scored by Cecilio Waterman.

Both sides will seek to use this as preparation for next summer and it could well end up being quite a fun and entertaining, genuinely competitive watch for the neutral.

Canada vs USA Tip: Both teams to score
