Canada vs Ukraine prediction

Coached by former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch, the Canadians are looking to go into the CONCACAF Gold Cup this summer as favourites, having reached the semi-finals of the 2025 CONMEBOL Copa America last summer. In March, they finished third in the CONCACAF Nations League with a defeat of the United States in the third-place playoff match.

They now face a Ukraine side that, with former Tottenham Hotspur striker Serhiy Rebrov at the helm, looked as though they would gain promotion to League A of the UEFA Nations League during the March international break with a 3-1 win over Belgium in the first-leg of their playoff tie, before losing by three goals to nil in the reverse fixture in Brussels.

Ukraine have an abundance of creative talent, whilst Canada are beginning to show the style of play that Marsch prefers with an intensity and aggression so both teams scoring may well be a good bet for this one.
