Canada vs Scotland prediction

Canada have produced two emphatic wins so far in Pool B, following their 65-7 dismantling of Fiji with a clinical 42-0 win over Wales last weekend.

The second seeds have already booked their place in the quarter-finals, so are now looking to confirm top spot ahead of opponents Scotland.

The Scots arrive in Exeter having also picked up maximum points, albeit in slightly less emphatic fashion. Bryan Easson’s side were made to work hard by Fiji in Salford last time out, eventually coming out on top 29-15.

Despite only being four places above Scotland in the world rankings, the gulf in quality is considerable with Canada considered massive favourites here. They will want to head into the knockout stage with plenty of momentum behind them, and they look capable of covering a decent handicap.
