Canada have just a couple more chances to run the rule over who may make their squad for co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup as they take on Guatemala.

Canada vs Guatemala prediction

Jesse Marsch has selected a very inexperienced squad for the friendly with Guatemala. 12 of the players are uncapped with the motivation to try and force their way into the key core of the squad for this summer’s tournament.

Guatemala come into this one on the back of an impressive CONCACAF qualifying campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, finishing off with a 3-1 win at home to Suriname after reaching the third round of qualifying in North America.

Guatemala have a limited squad but they have been boosted by having a similarly level to their normal side and they should be capable of being difficult to play against for a heavily rotated Canadian side.

Canada vs Guatemala tip: Under 2.5 goals
