They collected seven points from their three group stage matches with a 6-0 hammering of Honduras, a draw with Curacao and then a comfortable defeat of El Salvador.
Guatemala recovered from frustrating in FIFA World Cup qualification earlier this month to finish ahead of Jamaica in the group stages the other day. They began with a victory over Jamaica in their opener before a loss to a strong Panama side. They then pulled off a brilliant and entertaining 3-2 victory over Guadeloupe the other day.
Guatemala have showed signs of being able to be competitive in the tournament, but Canada are the side that are expected t win quite comfortably and reach the semi-finals.
