Canada vs Côte d’Ivoire prediction

Canada were victorious over Ukraine last time out, winning by four goals to two with Jonathan David starring for the hosts. His early brace set the tone in a dominating showing by the Canadians. That’s two wins in a row for Jesse Marsch, who led his side to victory against USA in the CONCACAF Nations League third-place play-off earlier in the year.

Côte d’Ivoire on the other hand, were beaten last time by New Zealand, a disappointing display by a squad that lacks real star power compared to sides of the past. At this point in time, Canada looks a stronger side on paper, certainly more dynamic at least and with home advantage in their favour, they are well-placed to make it three wins in a row across all competitions.
