Canada vs Australia prediction

Coached by former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch, Canada have been able to play an entertaining and front foot style of football that has got them far in a few competitions. The big test is for next summer, but they appear to be in a good place to go well in a tournament that they are co-hosting alongside Mexico and the United States.

They now face an Australia side that, now under the management of Tony Popovic, eventually managed to secure qualification for the tournament via the Asian confederation over the summer. The Socceroos then produced back-to-back friendly wins against New Zealand last month.

Australia will likely try and be a reactive side next summer so it may not be a thriller for the neutral, with Canada still surely favourites despite the style of play not necessarily suiting them.

Canada vs Australia tip: Canada to win & under 3.5 goals
