Cameroon vs Uganda prediction

The Cameroonians come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat of Libya during the March international break thanks to a brace from the experienced Vincent Aboubakar, as well as a strike from Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo. They are unbeaten in African qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup but sit a point behind Cape Verde at the top of Group D.

They now face a Ugandan side that most recently edged past Guinea by a goal to nil in qualifying for next summer a couple of months ago at the Mandela National Stadium. Uganda have managed seven victories with just two defeats in their last nine matches as they continue to steadily improve.

Cameroon would have to viewed as favourites for this one in north Africa but Uganda are improved and have become stubborn so it may well be a low-scoring, tight encounter.

Cameroon vs Uganda tip: Cameroon to win & under 3.5 goals
