Cambridge vs Cheltenham prediction
Cambridge United come into this one with what should be a promising position off the pitch that has Neil Harris in post as manager, with former boss Mark Bonner as Sporting Director. The U’s have made some reasonably good signings this summer, such as Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu, but even getting into League One had been a bit of a surprise.
The same can be said for Cheltenham Town as they now slide down the EFL and into the bottom-half of the League Two table. The Robins, under the management of former Newport County boss Michael Flynn, have few assets in the playing squad and their business has been slow, so this isn’t expected to be an overly promising campaign.
These two sides would appear to be evenly matched on paper, but Cambridge must surely have a bit of an advantage on the opening day, especially down at the Abbey.
Cambridge vs Cheltenham tip: Double chance – Cambridge to win or draw
