Cambodia vs Tajikistan prediction

The Cambodian national side, coached by Japanese manager Koji Gyotoku, who has previously managed their U17, U21 and U23 side, are ranked 181st in the world according to FIFA. They most recently suffered a 2-1 loss to CONCACAF minnows Aruba in Phnom Penh in March, making it one victory in their last eight matches.

Tajikistan, on the other hand, are ranked 104th in the world with their highest ever ranking of 99th coming in February 2024. Gela Shekiladze’s ‘The Crowns’ edged past Timor-Leste by a goal to nil in 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualification in March to make it three victories in their last four matches.

Cambodia will believe they can get some continuity with Ggyotoku at the helm of their first-team but they do appear a much weaker side than Tajikistan ahead of this friendly.
