Cagliari preview: Struggling Sardinians
Cagliari come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo last weekend, with Italy international striker Gianluca Scamacca notching a match-winning brace against the Sardinians.
The home team, coached by rookie boss Tommaso Giulini, have managed just three victories in their 15 matches so far this season as they hover just a couple of points and places outside of the bottom three and the relegation places.
Pisa preview: Steady Pisa
Following their promotion to the top-flight last season, Pisa have put in some competitive performances in Serie A, under the management of former Genoa boss Alberto Gilardino, but they have found wins to come by.
The visitors have managed just one victory in their 15 matches so far this season. In their most recent outing, Pisa suffered a 1-0 loss to Lecce last weekend, making it three defeats on the bounce since a 2-2 draw with Sassuolo.

Cagliari vs Pisa prediction
As one of the younger coaches in Serie A, Tommaso Giulini has tried to play a more proactive and front foot style of football in charge of Cagliari this season, but they generally lack a lot of quality. They now face a Pisa side that have been very competitive, albeit themselves also lacking a bit of attacking quality, and so a low-scoring encounter appears a good bet for this one in Sardinia.
Cagliari vs Pisa tip: Under 2.5 goals
