Cagliari vs Lecce prediction

Cagliari come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico last weekend due to a brace of goals scored by Aston Villa loanee Donyell Malen. The Sardinians had enjoyed three successive victories ahead of that one as they try and push into the middle-of-the-table.

They now face a Lecce side that have managed to climb themselves out of the bottom three and the relegation places, sitting three points outside of the drop zone ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures. Their most recent outing saw them defeat Udinese by three goals to one at the Stadio Comunale Via del Mare.

Lecce are an awkward side and will present a tough clash for a Cagliari side that aren’t the most fluent and so a low-scoring encounter is to be expected for this one.

Cagliari vs Lecce tip: Under 2.5 goals
