Cagliari could do with rediscovering their form as they get dragged towards the battle ahead of the visit of an inconsistent Lazio side to the Unipol Demus this week.

Cagliari vs Lazio prediction

Cagliari come into this one on the back of a very poor performance at the Unipol Demus last weekend, succumbing to a 2-0 defeat at home to Lecce. Fabio Pisacane has done a good job this season but the Sardinians are not yet out of danger down towards the bottom end of the table.

Lazio come into this one on the back of a mixed bag of results. Either side of reaching the Coppa Italia semi-finals against Bologna, they secured an unlikely draw with Juventus before succumbing to a 2-0 loss at home to Atalanta with yet another very poor and underwhelming performance at the Stadio Olimpico.

Cagliari will be very stubborn and difficult to play against, especially for a Lazio side that have lacked any consistency throughout the season so siding with the Sardinians may well be a good value bet for this one.

Cagliari vs Lazio tip: Double chance - Cagliari to win or draw
