Cagliari are seeking to continue their surprisingly improved run of form as they welcome genuine title challengers AC Milan to the Unipol Demus in Sardinia this weekend.

Cagliari vs AC Milan prediction

Cagliari come into this one on the back of a 2-1 victory away to Torino last weekend, with Semih Kilicsoy scoring a 66th minute winner in that game. That means they have now suffered just one defeat in their last four matches as they push towards the middle-of-the-table.

Massimiliano Allegri has made AC Milan much more defensive but much more effective as the Rossoneri sit second in the table, a point behind Internazionale, ahead of this match day. Milan returned from the Supercoppa Italiana by hammering Hellas Verona by three goals to nil at San Siro last weekend.

Milan head to Cagliari as firm favourites but, such is their desire and their style of football, it is unlikely to be an entertaining encounter in Sardinia.

Cagliari vs AC Milan tip: AC Milan to win & under 3.5 goals
