Cabo Verde vs Egypt Prediction

Cabo Verde have often been entertaining to watch and punched above their weight but the end of an era has apparently been as they sit in a tough spot in AFCON qualification.

The islanders have started their 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations with just one victory and three defeats so far. The hosts were hammered by Egypt before a 2-0 win against Mauritania and then losses to Mauritania and Botswana during the October international break.

The Egyptians are record seven-time African champions but have underperformed in recent tournaments. They appear much-improved at the moment, though, with four wins from four, scoring ten goals and conceded none in those four games.

Cabo Verde do have quite a few impressive attacking options but the fact is they have underperformed and Egypt are now firm favourites to condemn them to elimination.
