Brondby vs Vikingur Reykjavik prediction
Brondby come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat of Velje in the Danish Superliga at the weekend, in their most recent outing. Vikingur Reykjavik, on the other hand, suffered a 4-2 loss to Stjarnan to set them back in the Icelandic Besta deild Karla title race.
The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round tie in the Icelandic capital city of Reykjavik at the Vikingsvollur, Vikingur Reykjavik dispatched of Brondby by three goals to nil thanks to a 44th minute strike from Nikolaj Hansen, as well as second-half goals scored by Oliver Ekroth and Viktor Orlygur Andrason.
Brondby have more pedigree in terms of their personnel, but Vikingur have the better European pedigree of recent years, and a goal for the Icelanders will likely be enough to see them through.
