Brisbane Roar vs Auckland FC prediction

Brisbane Roar have been blunted in recent games from an attacking perspective failing to score in each of their two league matches so far in 2026, losing on both occasions. Having to play just three days after the most recent of those defeats at the hands of Melbourne City is unlikely to help Brisbane’s cause, with fatigue worries very much relevant because flagging fitness levels will see them vulnerable against the league leaders.

Auckland FC have slumped themselves of late, not winning their last two matches. A shock 1-3 defeat at home to Newcastle Jets was followed up by a 1-1 draw away at Macarthur. They have however, found the net at least once in all 11 of their league fixtures played so far this season. Provided the Auckland backline can stifle an under-performing Brisbane offense, then three points should be there for the taking.
