Brisbane Roar have endured a miserable 2024/25 Australian A League campaign as the Queenslanders now prepare to take on an Adelaide United side that have collapsed this year.

Brisbane Roar vs Adelaide United prediction

The Brisbane Roar begin this midweek catch-up game sitting second-from-bottom after 23 matches of this season’s A League, having managed just three victories in those 23 games. They did manage their second win of the season last time out as they edged past Western United by two goals to one at the Suncorp Stadium last week.

They now face an Adelaide United side that had spent the vast majority of the first-half of the campaign challenging Auckland at the top-of-the-table but the South Australians have since drifted into the bottom-half of the 13-team table. That said, they did manage a much-needed 3-2 defeat of the Wellington Phoenix in Adelaide the other day.

The visitors’ 24 matches so far this season have consisted of 106 goals and it would be a reasonable bet to presume both teams scoring is once again likely for this one in Queensland.
