Breidablik have finished fourth in the Icelandic Besta deild Karla in the 2025 campaign, which was a major surprise. The home team were beaten 2-1 by Vikingur Reykjavik at the weekend at home the other day. They started their UEFA Europa Conference League season with a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Lausanne Sport.
They now face a Kuopion Palloseura that surprise many by defeating HJK Helsinki to the title in 2024 and they have defended it this year. They began their first ever UEFA competition season with a 1-1 draw against Kosovan champions Drita Gjilan at the Tammelam Stadion a few weeks ago.
Both of these sides lack quality and will be reliant on home advantage and so, as a result, siding with Breidablik would appear the good bet for this one this week.
