Braga vs CFR Cluj prediction

Sporting Braga nearly broke up ‘Os Tres Grandes’ last season, but they eventually finished below Porto in fourth place. They defeated Levski Sofia in the second qualifying round last month. They now face a CFR Cluj side that have come through a couple of impressive qualifying victories against Paksi and then Lugano last month.

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League third qualifying round tie, Braga defeated CFR Cluj by two goals to one at the Dr. Constantin Radulescu Stadium in Romania last week. In that game, midfielder Jean-Baptiste Gorby notched a brace for Braga, with Sheriff Sinyan scoring mid-way through the first-half for the Romanians.

Braga will believe they can wrap up themselves guaranteed UEFA league phase football this season with a victory at home here, after a good start to the Portuguese Primeira Liga campaign with a 3-0 win over Tondela in northern Portugal at the weekend.

Braga vs CFR Cluj tip: Braga to win -1 handicap
